Add a watermark to PDF online, free: text or image watermarks with opacity, angle and tiling options.

Add text or image watermarks to mark copyright, confidentiality level or document status — for example "Internal" or "Void".

Configure colour, opacity, font size, rotation and tiling, and apply the watermark to selected pages only. A CJK font subset is embedded, so Chinese watermarks render correctly.

Everything runs locally in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.

How to use

FAQ

Can the watermark be applied to only some pages?

Yes. Enter a page range such as 1-3,5 in the apply-to field, or use the odd/even pages shorthand, and only those pages get the watermark.

Will Chinese watermark text turn into garbled characters?

No. A CJK font subset is embedded, so Chinese, Japanese and Korean text renders correctly regardless of the fonts installed on the reader side.

Can a watermark be removed afterwards?

The watermark becomes part of the exported page content and cannot be undone by this tool. Keep the original file and regenerate a different version from it when needed.
